Our club paid respect to Bill Shankly 100th birthday which was commemorated on 2nd September 2013.

More than a dozen members of Bill Shankly’s family were also present for the occasion on the 100th anniversary of his birth, hosted by Sky TV commentator Alan Parry and Echo Sports Editor John Thompson, alongside many of his ex players such as Kenny Daglish, Alan Kennedy, David Fairclough, Jamie Carragher, Ian Rush, Roger Hunt, Ian Callaghan, Ian St John, Ron Yeats, John Alridge, Chris Lawler, Ronnie Whelan, Tommy Lawrence, David Johnson and Tommy Smith.
